GREENWOOD, Ind. – Earlier this week, College Sports Communicators announced its 2026 Baseball Academic All-District Team. Five Milwaukee baseball players were selected, including
Aric Ehmke,
Aiden Fishnick,
Bradyn Horn,
Camden Kuhnke, and
Charlie Marion.

A repeat group of this year's Horizon League All-Academic Team selections, the five are recognized for their academic and athletic efforts for the second time in three weeks.

Ehmke is an accounting major with a 3.517 GPA, Fishnick has a 4.000 GPA as a civil engineering major, while Horn is a kinesiology major with a 3.946 GPA. Kuhnke and Marion are both enrolled in the biomedical and health sciences major, with Kuhnke owning a 3.792 GPA and Marion carrying a 3.517 GPA. All grades submitted to College Sports Communicators were through the fall 2025 semester.

All five were key contributors to Milwaukee's Horizon League championship run and pair of NCAA Regional wins. The season wrapped on Monday evening against No. 4 Auburn in the Regional Championship game.

Ehmke finished the season as Milwaukee's leader in ERA at 4.88 among pitchers with enough innings to qualify. He made 15 appearances and 14 starts, leading the team with 75 2/3 innings pitched. He struck out 49 batters and walked just 23 while holding opponents to a .283 batting average.

Fishnick made 19 appearances on the mound this season, posting a 4.75 ERA. In 36 innings, he struck out 25 batters and held opponents to a .254 batting average. In his seven Horizon League appearances, his numbers improved further as he recorded a 3.52 ERA over 15 1/3 innings.

Horn ended the year third on the team with a .314 batting average, starting 52 of his 53 appearances as a sophomore. He had 58 hits on the year, including 12 doubles and five home runs, while driving in 38 runs and scoring 26. The team's primary left fielder, Horn had an .843 OPS and a .384 on-base percentage while drawing 22 walks.

Kuhnke was named Horizon League Reliever of the Year and finished the season with six saves to lead the league. He posted a 4.54 ERA in 25 appearances and finished with a 4-2 record. He struck out 33 batters and held opponents to a .232 batting average.

Leading the team with a 1.002 OPS, Marion finished the season as the team's leaders with 14 home runs and tied for the team lead with 60 RBIs. He had 69 hits including 31 for extra bases, with 16 doubles and a triple. He led the team with a .600 slugging percentage and scored 52 runs while appearing in 58 games with 56 starts.

Milwaukee finished the season with 27 wins, including 14 in Horizon League play. The Panthers captured their fifth conference championship, defeating top-seeded Wright State, 5-4, on May 23. The team continued its postseason success in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, knocking off No. 4 Auburn as well as UCF to reach the Auburn Regional Championship round.
