INDIANAPOLIS – Dylan O'Connell was named Horizon League Batter of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
O'Connell played a key role in Milwaukee's series win over Northern Kentucky this past weekend, driving in six of the team's 16 runs on Sunday, including the game-tying three-run home run that tied the score at 10 after an 8-0 deficit. He later added key insurance runs with a three-run double in the Panthers' six-run 14th inning to help Milwaukee secure the victory.
 
He posted a .429 batting average with four extra-base hits, including three doubles and a home run. He drove in a team-high eight RBIs, while scoring six runs. O'Connell recorded an .857 slugging percentage and a .529 on-base percentage with three walks. He was also 1-for-1 on stolen base attempts.
 
In his first season with the Panthers, he leads the team with a .369 average with 24 hits, including eight doubles, a triple, and four home runs. He also leads Milwaukee with 17 runs scored,19 RBIs, eight stolen bases, a .708 slugging percentage, and a .440 on-base percentage.
 
O'Connell becomes the first Panther to receive weekly recognition from the league this season, and the first to earn Batter of the Week honors since teammate Charlie Marion was recognized on April 15, 2025.
 
Milwaukee resumes play on Tuesday afternoon on the road against Western Illinois and will open the home schedule on Friday afternoon against Wright State.
