MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee track & field team earned a Horizon League Athlete of the Week honor, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Nevia Levenhagen was honored as the Women's Field Athlete of the Week after a monster showing at DePaul's Blue Demon Alumni Classic.
 
Levenhagen earned her first career Horizon League weekly award after capturing the title in the long jump with her career-best 6.18-meter leap in Chicago, Ill. Her mark currently ranks second in the Horizon League and in the Panther record books.
 
She also impressed in the triple jump, finishing sixth after her personal-best 11.64-meter clearance. Levenhagen's performance ranks third in the Horizon League.
