MILWAUKEE – Five members of the Milwaukee men's track & field team were selected to the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team released on Thursday afternoon.

Divine Aniamaka,
Cullen Boyle,
Jeremiah Johnson,
Jack Misky, and
Liam Richards were the Panthers honored by the league, representing the most athletes the program has had on the All-Academic team since 2021.

Aniamaka makes his first appearance on the team as a sophomore biomedical engineering major with a 3.96 GPA. He won the Horizon League Championship in the triple jump, tying the program record and moving on to the NCAA West Regional Preliminaries where he will be competing Friday at 2:30 p.m.

Taking a spot on this season's squad after receiving an honorable mention nod in the indoor season is Boyle. The Junior distance runner has kept up a strong 3.85 GPA while majoring in Architecture.

Johnson lands himself on the list as Graduate Student pursuing a degree in Information Science and Technology with a 3.74 GPA. He capped off his final season with a third-place finish in the hammer throw at the Horizon League Championships.

Misky was voted on for the second outdoor season in a row, finishing his senior year with a 3.78 GPA while studying kinesiology. He turned in top-five performances at the league championships in the discus and javelin.

Richards rounds out the honorees for Milwaukee, the mechanical engineering student holds a 3.47 GPA through his sophomore year. At the league championships, he won the decathlon with the second-best score in school history. He also earned points for the team in the javelin, pole vault, and 110m hurdles.
