INDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, the Horizon League announced its 2025 Baseball All-League Awards, with Milwaukee having six student-athletes recognized for their contributions to the team's third place finish this year.
Â
Gavin Theis and
Logan Snow earned individual honors as Theis was selected as the Horizon League Pitcher of the Year while Snow garnered Reliever of the Year accolades.
Â
Theis and Snow were also both named All-League First Team selections along with
Tyler Bickers and
Gabe Roessler. The Panthers also had a player on the All-League second team as
Justin Hausser was acknowledged.
Â
Also earning honors was
Tate Schmidt, who received a spot on the All-Freshman Team following his rookie campaign.
Â
Theis finished his 2025 season with an 8-1 record over his 14 starts on the season, with the team earning wins in nine of 10 of his Horizon League starts. He had 68 strikeouts to lead Milwaukee's staff and allowed just 39 earned runs over 80 innings for a 4.39 ERA. He held opponents this season to a .257 batting average.
Â
His best two starts of the season came in Horizon League action, as he won the opener of the team's home series against Oakland with 8 2/3 innings pitched without allowing a run and striking out a season-best eight batters. Later in the year he recorded eight shutout innings at home against Purdue Fort Wayne on May 9 with another seven strikeouts.
Â
With his selection as Horizon League Pitcher of the Year, Theis becomes the first Panther to earn the honor since the 2016 season, when
Brian Keller earned the honor. He joins former teammate
Luke Hansel as Milwaukee's most recent first-team selection, as Hansel was a member of the first team in 2024.
Â
Snow was the most dominant relief pitcher in the Horizon League this season over his 21 outings this season. He led the Horizon League with six saves and had a win over his efforts this season, holding opponents to a sub-one WHIP at 0.99. He struck out 24 batters over 30 1/3 innings and finished the regular season with a 1.78 ERA.

He had a stretch of 14-straight innings without allowing a run that spanned from the team's win on Mar. 21 over Wright State through the team's game two win over Purdue Fort Wayne at home on May 10.
Â
Snow becomes the first Panther reliever to win Relief Pitched of the Year since
AJ Blubaugh earned back-to-back honors in 2021 and 2022. Blubaugh was also a Horizon League First Team honoree in each of those seasons.
Â
Bickers earned a spot on the All-League First Team following an impressive Horizon League campaign that saw the senior hit .412 in league games with a team-high 47 hits. Overall, in 2025 Bickers led the Panthers with 72 hits, the most in a season since Hausser had 72 in 2024.
