MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee swimming & diving teams hosted Wheaton (Ill.) College in the Klotsche Natatorium on Halloween night.
The Panthers declared victory over the visiting Thunder by a score of 129-64, improving to 2-2.

Kyle Clements "This is a meet that we love, and it gives us an opportunity to practice a number of different things. We get to swim some different events, work on our warmup and cool down plans, and we get to see the results of the hard work that we have been putting in over the weeks."
Gabrielle LePine was the lone member of the Black & Gold to secure two gold medals on the day. LePine touched the wall first in the 50 Freestyle, clocking a time of 24.70. Alongside teammates
Kalli Stark,
Carly Plate, and
Brielle Laube, she grabbed a first-place finish in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:38.42).
Ava Schlageter also saw success in the Klotsche Natatorium pool, earning both a first- and second-place finish at the meet. In the 100 Breaststroke, Schlageter touched the wall first and set a personal best with a time of 1:08.37. She touched the wall second in the 200 Medley Relay (1:53.13) as well.
Sophomore
Elena Zippel swam in two events, recording a first-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay and a second-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke (1:10.47).
Other Panthers to register victories were
Natalie DiProspero in the 200 Freestyle (1:58.04),
Grace Hudson in the 100 Freestyle (53.88),
Anika Svenning in the 100 Backstroke (58.91),
Erika Thomas in the 100 Fly (59.00), and
Noelle Bryan in the 200 Medley Relay (1:49.12).
"Today was another great step in our season and we are looking forward to the quick turnaround into our meet with UIC," concluded Clements.
