MILWAUKEE – After qualifying and competing for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 100m hurdles on June 28 and 29, Milwaukee senior Natalie Block and track & field head coach Andrew Basler sat down with Matt Menzl of the Black & Gold Network to discuss their experiences.
 
Block recounts her qualification for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, her time at the NCAA Preliminary Rounds and Championships, her workout style, and what inspires her through the highs and lows of being an athlete.
 
In addition, Basler adds his experience of coaching Block, while discussing her development as a student-athlete throughout her time at Milwaukee.

Block qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and advanced to the semifinals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. She finished 24th at the event, while competing against the top talent in the United States.
