GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Tuesday, College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District Team for the 2023-24 season with a trio from Milwaukee women's basketball earning honors.
 
Being selected to the All-District Team were Angie Cera, Anna Lutz, and Kamy Peppler. For Cera, this is her second career selection, while Lutz and Peppler earn for the first time in their collegiate careers.
 
Cera is finishing up her time at Milwaukee this year with a degree in marketing while also obtaining her certification in real estate from UW-Milwaukee. On the court, Cera appeared in all 32 and started in 31 contests, finishing the season having played 924 minutes. She shot better than 40 percent from the field and 35 percent from three, while she also led the team at the free throw line at 89 percent.
 
She finished the season with 308 points, 92 rebounds, 55 assists, 17 steals, and four blocks.
 
Lutz is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Astrophysics at Milwaukee and finished her redshirt sophomore season with the Panthers in 2023-24. During her first season as a starter, she started in 25 of her 29 appearances. From the field, she shot better than 50 percent with 113 makes on 224 attempts, while she shot better than 82 percent from the free throw line.
 
She finished the campaign with 283 points for an average of 9.8 points per game, while also tallying a team-best 5.9 rebounds per game as she ended the season with 170. Lutz added 40 assists, 18 steals, and led the team with 22 blocks.
 
Currently studying General Health Sciences at Milwaukee, Peppler was one of just four players on the team to appear in all 32 games for the team, while starting in 31 contests. She was one of two players to average more than 32 minutes per game and shot 38 percent from the field and 34 percent from three.
 
Peppler was second on the team in scoring with 369 points for an average of 11.5 per game, while she also led the team with 153 assists.  She also added a team-high 45 steals to go along with 112 rebounds and seven blocks in 2023-24.
 
To be recognized by College Sports Communicators an undergraduate student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, or a graduate student with a 3.50 gpa as both an undergraduate or graduate while competing in at least 90 percent of an team's contests, or start in at least 66 percent of the team's contests.
