MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee's men's and women's swimming & diving teams are set to host their final two dual meets of the season when St. Thomas and Stevens Point visit the Klotsche Natatorium on Friday and Saturday.
Friday's meet will feature the Tommies of St. Thomas and is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. The Panthers will host the Stevens Point Pointers on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. start. Prior to Saturday's meet against the Pointers, Milwaukee Swimming & Diving will take a few minutes to honor the many seniors on the roster this season, beginning at approximately 12:45.
Scouting the Tommies
In a young series as of yet, Milwaukee has matched up against St. Thomas twice since 2022. The women hold a 2-0 series lead over the Tommies while the men are 1-1 after dropping last February's meet in St. Paul, Minnesota.
On the men's side, St. Thomas sits at 1-4 overall, with their lone win coming October 7
th over Augustana. Last time out, on December 9
th, the Tommies fell to Omaha by a score of 214-105. The lone common opponent between Milwaukee and St. Thomas is Green Bay. The Tommies faced the Phoenix back on October 6
th, falling 154-146, while the Panthers are coming off a 172-125 win over the Phoenix on January 27
th.
St. Thomas' women's team comes into the meet at 2-5 on the season, most recently splitting a tri-meet against Concordia St. Paul and Minnesota State – Mankato on January 20
th. Like the men, the Tommie women share one common opponent with Milwaukee. Both programs earned wins over Green Bay this season, with the Tommies' coming October 6
th and the Panthers' coming January 27
th.
Scouting the Pointers
Barring the 2020-21 season, Milwaukee has faced Stevens Point once per year since 2018. The women are 5-0 against the Pointers, winning their last meet 177-88. On the men's side, Milwaukee is 3-2, losing last year's meet 155-116.
The Stevens Point men are 4-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming to Eau Claire in late October. The Pointers have won their last three dual meets and have won two multi-team events this season. Their most recent meet ended in a win over La Crosse by a score of 180.5-119.5.
On the women's side, the Pointers sit at 2-4 on the season in dual meets while winning one multi-team event. The most recent win for the Pointers came November 18
th over Whitewater, while the most recent loss came in their last dual meet against La Crosse on January 27
th. In that meet, the Pointers fell 218-82.
Last Time Out
In their last dual meet, Milwaukee took on conference foe Green Bay, defeating both the Phoenix men and women.
Grace Hudson was one of many on the women's team that found themselves on multiple podiums, winning three events while helping the team to a 222-78 victory. Hudson won the 200 free in 1:57.35 and the 500 free in 5:14.75 while contributing to a relay win in the 800 free relay.

Noelle Bryan, and
Julie Rebek all won or contributed to at least two event wins on the day as well.
Jay Jensen and
Charlie House each won three events to help the men to a 172-125 victory. Jensen came away victorious in the 500 free, 1000 free, and the 800 free relay. House joined Jensen on the 800 free relay team while also winning the 100 free and 200 free.
Adam St. John grabbed wins on both diving heights, while
Nik Wheeler and
Ben Lorenz each secured individual wins at the meet.
