MILWAUKEE – Head coach Susie Johnson has announced the addition of Alexis Lewis to the incoming class for the upcoming 2024 season.
 
Lewis will be transferring from the University of Memphis, where she played for three seasons from 2021-23.
 
"We are very excited to add Alexis to our program," commented Johnson. She has great in-match experience and has a great amount of athletic ability which will be awesome for our continued strength in the middle position."
 
During her time in Tennessee, she appeared in 43 matches and 92 sets, accumulating 129 kills and 46 blocks. She also chipped in on offense with four assists and a service ace, while also tallying 25 digs in her time with the Tigers.
 
As a sophomore she was selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. She will plan to finish her degree in Milwaukee in marketing.
 
An Illinois native, Lewis returns to the upper Midwest, where she was an All-State Honorable Mention in both 2018 and 2021. She was named to the 2020 Under Armour All-American Watch List and was a First Team All-Conference selection in both 2019 and 2021 at Hononegah Community High School in Rockton, Illinois.
 
She played club volleyball with both VC United and Fusion Volleyball prior to attending Memphis.
 
Lewis joins Emily Hansen, Milica Tomic, Gabby Wire, and Jenna Soerens, who will all plan to join the Panthers in 2024.
