"I thought that we made good adjustments in the fourth quarter, utilizing the way that Robert Morris was playing and use it to our advantage", said head coach Kyle Rechlicz. "They started to pack the paint in the second half because of how well Megan played in the first, so we knew we needed someone to step up in the second half and that was Kendall."

Halfway through the game Walstad had 15 points to lead the way to go along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Milwaukee also had seven points from Nead, and six from Kamy Peppler on back-to-back threes late in the second quarter.

Robert Morris (8-10, 2-7 Horizon League) was able to limit Walstad in the second half, so Nead stepped up and connected on 12 points, while Emma Wittmershaus had eight, and Angie Cera added six points in the second half. Milwaukee led by four at 29-25 with four minutes left in the opening half, but an 11-3 run late in the half propelled the home team to a 12-point halftime lead at 40-28.

All but two of Milwaukee's points in the third quarter came from the free throw line, but the Panthers were up to the task going a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe to hang onto a nine-point lead.

Robert Morris cut the lead to five, but Milwaukee responded with eight unanswered to take a 66-53 lead before the Panthers closed out the game for good at 72-60.
