Kathy Litzau, who has served as Milwaukee's Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator since 2007. Prior to transitioning into an administrative role, Litzau spent 14 years as the head women's volleyball coach at Milwaukee, where her teams compiled a remarkable 118-14 (.894) record in Horizon League play over her last 10 seasons. She led her teams to a Horizon League regular-season title in each of her final four seasons at the helm of the program and is now in her 30
th year with the MKE Athletic Department.
The story is authored by Gary D'Amato, the former longtime sportswriter and columnist for the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, who joined the staff as the feature writer for the Roar Report in September of 2018.
