MILWAUKEE – James Biedenbender has been added to the Milwaukee Athletics staff as Communications Assistant, as a part of the Communications & Multimedia Team for the 2025-26 school year.
 
Biedenbender will be the primary contact for the cross country, swimming & diving, and the track & field programs, as well as assisting with communication efforts for the other programs.

Biedenbender comes to the Panthers after graduating from nearby Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he was actively involved in the school's Sports Information Department. Working under director Adam Heinzen, Biedenbender assisted with gameday operations, statistical efforts, graphic design elements, and publishing various releases during his four years of undergraduate studies.
 
At WLC, Biedenbender earned his undergraduate degree in Business Marketing & Finance. He was elected the student body president for his final two years, where he created weekly meeting agendas, met regularly with school administration, and communicated frequently with the student body. Lastly, he was a four-year men's volleyball student-athlete, serving as a team captain for the final three years.
 
He also joins the world of athletics bringing a year of experience as the Marketing Specialist at Castle Realty out of La Crosse, Wis. Within this role, Biedenbender carried out social media campaigns, assisted with print advertising efforts, branded key documents, and operated as the sole marketing resource for 25+ agents and brokers.
