MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee women's basketball team finalized its full 2022-23 schedule on Wednesday morning which features 14 home games including the season opener on November 7 against in-state rival Wisconsin.
The Panthers will look for their second straight win against the Badgers after topping Wisconsin 79-67 a season ago. Milwaukee will then host hosting Loyola Chicago on November 10.
MKE will travel just a few miles for its first road game, taking on Marquette at the Al McGuire Center on November 13. Three days later, the Panthers head to Chicago to face former Horizon League opponent UIC.
Over Thanksgiving break, MKE heads to Reno, Nevada for a pair of games against Nevada and Boise State.
Conference play begins on Thursday, December 1 as Green Bay comes to the Klotsche Center before a quick trip to Indianapolis to face IUPUI in a rare Monday matchup (Dec. 5).
A pair of home matchups against Eastern Illinois (Dec. 10) and Maine (Dec. 22) sandwich a road trip to Minnesota on December 14 to wrap up non-conference play for remainder of the year.
The Panthers then closes the 2022 calendar year with games against Detroit Mercy (Dec. 29) and Oakland (Dec. 31) at the Klotsche Center.
The New Year begins with consecutive weekend trips for the Panthers. First, MKE heads to Northern Kentucky (Jan. 5) and Wright State (Jan. 7) followed by Cleveland State (Jan. 12) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 14).
After a nearly three-week absence, Milwaukee finally returns home to host Youngstown State and Robert Morris on January 20 and 22, respectively.
The second half of the conference slate begins with a trip to Green Bay on January 26 before heading to Indianapolis to take on IUPUI at The Jungle on January 28.
Milwaukee then opens February in Michigan against Oakland and Detroit Mercy. Wright State and Northern Kentucky visit Milwaukee on February 10 and 12 before one final road trip. MKE heads to Youngstown State on February 17 and Robert Morris on February 19 to close the road schedule.
The Panthers will then wrap up the regular season at home against Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 23) and Cleveland State (Feb. 25).
