MILWAUKEE – Jordan Ratliffe of Gibson, N.C., has signed with Milwaukee and will join the roster of the men's basketball team, head coach Bart Lundy announced today.
 
Ratliffe, a 5-foot, 11-inch, 185-pound guard, comes to the Panthers after earning multiple postseason honors in three seasons at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, including First-Team Conference Carolinas All-Conference following the 2021-22 campaign.

This past winter, Ratliffe started all 31 games, averaging 15.0 points to help lead the team to a 27-4 overall record, seeing its season conclude in the semifinal round of the NCAA Southeast Regional. He shot 43.8 percent (162-of-370) from the field, connecting on 36.7 percent (65-for-185) from beyond the arc. A Conference Carolinas Player of the Week selection in January, Ratliffe tallied 10 or more points 24 times overall, including nine 20+-point performances. The First-Team All-League honoree added 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 assists and recorded a career-high 30 points in a February win over Lees-McRae.
 
Ratliffe put up 14.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game in the 2020-21 shortened COVID season (6 games), following a sophomore campaign where he was first named All-Peach Belt Conference. He averaged 13.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 30 games that season, making 29 starts. He shot 48.2 percent (134-for-278) from the field, including a 56-for-127 (.441) showing from deep. He added a 77.3 percent (68-for-88) effort on his attempts from the charity stripe and scored in double-figures on 22 different occasions, highlighted by a season-best 28 points at Young Harris.
 
He spent his freshman season at VMI, contributing 7.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game (27 appearances). In high school, he helped lead the Knights to state championships as both a junior and a senior at Village Christian Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
