MILWAUKEE – Senior Mayya Perova of the Milwaukee tennis team was named to the 2022 All-Horizon League First Team, the league announced this morning.
 
Perova capped off her senior season with a career best 16-5 overall record in singles and tallied 11 victories in doubles. At one time during the season, Perova held a 10-straight match streak, while competing primarily from the No. 2 singles line (10-4) but also went 6-1 from the No. 1 position.
 
This marks the second league honor for Perova as she was named 2019 Horizon League Freshman of the Year and First Team.
