MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee placed 171 student-athletes on the 2021 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll, announced today by the conference office.
 
After leading the Horizon League four times in the past five semesters, the Panthers' total number of honorees just missed the top spot this time, finishing just behind first-place Youngstown State (172). A total of 1,455 student-athletes earned the distinction league-wide.
 
Women's track & field/cross country led the way for Milwaukee with 31 members. Women's swim/dive was second for the Panthers with 26, with women's soccer (22) and baseball (21) close behind.
 
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season; 2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution; and 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
