MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee baseball team will have to wait for the official start to the 2021 season now that its series at Southeast Missouri, which was scheduled for this upcoming weekend, has been cancelled.
 
With a major snowstorm in the local area and unseasonably cold weather sticking around, the field where the Panthers and Redhawks were set to play is still covered in large amounts of snow and ice.
 
As of now, Milwaukee will open the 2021 campaign next weekend at Kentucky, with the first game set for a 3 p.m. CST first pitch Friday.
