INDIANAPOLIS – The Cleveland State-Milwaukee men's basketball game scheduled for Friday, Jan. 22 has been selected to be broadcasted on ESPN2, the League office was informed by ESPN this week. Game time is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.

The matchup highlights two teams that are sitting high atop the Horizon League standings as the Vikings are a perfect 8-0 to start the League season, while the Panthers head into this weekend's games 4-1. CSU is off to its best-ever start in Horizon League play thanks in large part to its efforts on the defensive end as the Vikings rank first during Horizon League in scoring defense (63.8), defensive field-goal percentage (39.3 percent), steals (9.3) and turnover margin (+2.5). MKE is 4-1 in HL play for the first time since the 2011-12 season as the Panthers offensively are top-5 in scoring, field-goal percentage, 3-point field-goal percentage and rebounding, while defensively they are top-three in scoring, rebounds and field-goal percentage.

This is the third of four consecutive Fridays that will feature a #HLMBB game on ESPN linear networks and is a part of the League's "Anything Can Happen on Friday" campaign that fans can follow along on social media by using #FRIDAYisHLMBB.

Continuing a relationship that began during the 2014-15 season, ESPN+ and ESPN3 will be the home for the League's live streaming game content. The Horizon League has scheduled to stream every conference basketball game for an industry-best 14 consecutive seasons, beginning its streak in 2007 with the groundbreaking Horizon League Network.

This will mark the Panthers first appearance on a national ESPN platform since appearing on ESPNU in the 2018 Horizon League Tournament and then on ESPN and ESPNU during their run to the title game in the 2017 Horizon League Championship.
