MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee women's basketball team has officially set the date for the 20^th annual Golf Classic on August 28 at Silver Spring Golf Club.
 
This year marks the third at Silver Spring and the second year where attendees will play The Falls Course.
 
All participants will receive an exclusive Panther item, can meet current Panther players and coaches, and participate in silent and live auctions with proceeds going to the women's basketball program.
 
Last year's outing was an enormous success and helped raise over $24,000, with all proceeds going directly to Milwaukee women's basketball to help provide a memorable experience for our student-athletes. 
 
Registration begins at 10:00 am, with a shotgun start at 11:00 am.

UPDATE: Following golf, there will be outdoor space for you and your guests to enjoy a beverage and relax, but we are letting each person decide as to whether they want to stay after their round of golf. We will not be having a silent auction, buffet dinner, or any of the indoor activities we typically have at our golf outing. Because of this, the registration pricing for the outing has changed.
 
We have lowered the golf outing to $100 per person. Included in this price is your round of golf, lunch at the turn, and beverages on the course during and following your round. We realize this will be different than in years past, but we know that we can still have an enjoyable, Panther spirited day with you, our friends and supporters.
 
If you don't feel comfortable attending this year, we encourage you to be a sponsor for the event. We will be offering incentives for banner and hole sponsors for this year's event. Banner sponsors will receive two tickets to a home game chalk talk by one of our coaches. Hole sponsors will also receive two chalk talk tickets as well as exclusive team merchandise. 
 
We would appreciate you registering the way you intend to support the outing and out basketball program, but payment will NOT be taken at the time of registration. Instead, we will contact you on August 7 and will collect your payment at that time. This provides us the opportunity to understand who will be attending, to create sponsorship materials, and have an accurate count on the number of attendees.
