The Panthers will host a Horizon League Tournament First Round game on Tuesday, March 3, but the opponent is yet to be determined. With a win, Milwaukee will earn the No. 5 seed. With a loss, the Panthers will enter the tournament with the No. 6 seed.

SCOUTING THE VIKINGS
Cleveland State is fighting Milwaukee for the No. 5 seed in the Horizon League Tournament. The Vikings earned a sweep in Michigan last weekend but fell to Green Bay on Thursday and sit at 9-8 in league play.

Led by Mariah Miller and Mariah White, the Vikings rank in the top half of the Horizon League in offensive efficiency. In league play, CSU is fifth in scoring offensive (66.2 points per game), sixth in field goal percentage (39.2) and fourth in three-point percentage (31.3).

Defensively, the Vikings are the best in the league in stopping the long ball, holding opponents to just 27.6 percent from three.

Sophomore Savanna Crockett has also been a large part of the Vikings attack, averaging 11.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

LAST TIME THEY MET
Cleveland State earned a 58-49 victory over Milwaukee in its home School Day game. The Vikings held Milwaukee to 34.4 percent shooting. No one reached double digits for the Panthers while
Lizzie Odegard led with eight points and eight rebounds.

Thanks to winning nine in a row from 2015-2019, Milwaukee owns a 33-24 all-time advantage over Cleveland State. The Vikings earned a win earlier this season, but the Panthers are 19-7 at home against CSU.

Following Saturday's game, Milwaukee take on the Horizon League Tournament. The Panthers will end up with either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed and will host a First Round game on Tuesday, March 3.

Thanks to a solid fourth quarter yet again, the Panthers earned a 59-54 victory over Youngstown State on Thursday evening. The Panthers shut down the Penguins to just 2-for-14 from the floor and outscored YSU 15-6 in the final frame for the comeback win.

ODEGARD OWNS THE PAINT
Senior
Lizzie Odegard continues to make her presence known inside as she scored a season-high 19 points to lead the Panthers to a win over Youngstown State. Odegard has reached double digits in five of the last seven games. In the Panthers' 6-1 stretch in February, Odegard is averaging 12.1 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 46.6 percent from the floor.

ANOTHER DOUBLE DOUBLE
Brandi Bisping recorded her third double-double of the season on Thursday, posting 11 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Youngstown State. The junior leads the team with 9.5 points per game and ranks second with 6.0 rebounds per contest. Bisping earned her first-career Horizon League Player of the Week award on February 17. The junior averaged 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals in a pair of victories that week. The award was her first and also the first for a Panther since December 23, 2018 when Odegard earned the honor. Bisping was also named Horizon League Player of the Week by the College Sports Madness website.

With the victory over UIC on Sunday, February 23, the Panthers earned a home game for the Horizon League Tournament First Round. Milwaukee currently sits in fifth place. With a win, the Panthers seal the No. 5 seed. If MKE drops Saturday's game against CSU, the Panthers will have the No. 6 seed for the tournament.

In the win over Youngstown State, Milwaukee held the Penguins to just six points in the fourth quarter. That marks the stingiest quarter since February 28, 2019 when the Panthers held UIC to just five points in the fourth quarter. On Thursday, Milwaukee held YSU to 2-for-14 shooting including 0-for-4 from three-point range.

Redshirt sophomore
Alyssa Moore has seen her minutes increase as of late, averaging 16 per game over the last four contests. In 15 minutes against Detroit Mercy, Moore dished out a career-best six assists with zero turnovers. Moore added two points, two rebounds, and two steals, finishing plus-24 in the victory. Against UIC, Moore knocked down her first triple of the season, scoring four points and added two steals and a rebound in the win.

Senior
Jamie Reit has been hot at the right time for Milwaukee. In the last seven games, Reit is averaging 11.0 points per game, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor and 52.2 percent from three-point range. The Stanley, Wis. native is also averaging 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game during that stretch. When Reit hits at least two three-pointers, the Panthers are 6-2 this season.

CONVERTING FROM THE CHARITY STRIPE
Milwaukee has found success from the free throw line this Horizon League season and currently ranks third with a 75.8 percentage. If you remove the opening weekend of league play, the Panthers are 156-for-199 at the charity stripe, a 78.3 percentage, which would ranks second in the Horizon League and 10th in NCAA Division I. Overall, Milwaukee is shooting 74.4 percent from the stripe this season, over 70 points better than last year's mark of 66.8 percent. The Panthers rank 48th in the nation from the line.
