MILWAUKEE, Wis. – After averaging a double-double in a pair of Milwaukee women's basketball victories,
Brandi Bisping was named a High-Major Conference Player of the Week by
College Sports Madness.
Bisping had a dominant week for the Panthers, averaging 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent (15-for-18) from the free throw line. In the season opener, Bisping took over the second half and recorded 13 points and eight rebounds in a win over Ball State. On Saturday, Bisping followed that with a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double and added four assists and a pair of steals in the win.
Ball State was predicted to finish third in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Poll while Bradley was selected to finish second in the Missouri Valley Conference.
