JACKSON, Miss. – Mother Nature spoiled day one of the trip to Mississippi for the Milwaukee baseball team, with rain in the area and field conditions causing a cancellation of Friday's series opener.
 
Originally scheduled for 6 p.m., the start time was moved up two hours to try and get the contest in, but to no avail.
 
The remainder of the weekend schedule stays as-is, but the forecast is not a conducive one for getting games in. Any updates will be posted to the Milwaukee Baseball Twitter page and website schedule page as soon as available.
