Walstad Named To All-Tournament Team

Freshman helped Milwaukee go 1-1 at Saint Mary’s Tournament

MORAGA, Calif. – Freshman Megan Walstad of the Milwaukee women's basketball team has been named to the Saint Mary's Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the tournament Saturday.

Walstad finished with a team-high 27 points over the two games, helping the Panthers to a big road win Saturday. She also tallied eight rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block in 56 total minutes of action.

The honor is the second of the week for Walstad, as she was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week following her strong showing on the court a week ago.
