MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee women's swim & dive team won a total of 10 events Friday evening against DIII powerhouse Wheaton Thunder by a final score of 119 to 77 from the Klotsche Natatorium.
 
The Panthers took the evening by storm capturing the top-spot in the first five events, and would go on to win 10-of-11 events against the Thunder.
 
MKE kicked things off winning the 200 Medley Relay edging out the Thunder by nearly a half of a second. The freshman squad, 
Mia Piljevic, 
Makaila Scheiblein, 
Isabella Passamani and 
Cassandra Hutchins touched the wall at 1:48.98 with teammates 
Addison Skogman, 
Jenn Kordik, 
Shelby Rozeboom and 
Emma Helgeson placing third at 1:52.93.
 
Fellow freshman 
Madeline Worgull nabbed her collegiate win by going the distance in the 1000 Freestyle. The Panthers went 1-2-3 in the event with Worgull leading the way at 10:58.53, 
Jenna Hotvedt (11:11.21) and 
Shelby Rozeboom (11:20.30) following.
 
Freshmen classmates

Isabella Passamani, 
Makaila Scheiblein also stood at the top of the podium in their respective events.
 
In addition to their 200 Medley Relay win, Passamani and Scheiblein won individual events as well. Scheiblein took the 100 Breaststroke by nearly two seconds coming in with a final time of 1:08.13. Two events later Passamani won comfortably in the 500 Freestyle. Passamni clocked in at 5:13.35 while her nearest Thunder opponent rolled in with a time of 5:40.32.
 
Senior 
Emma Helgeson also claimed two wins. The Skokie (Ill.) native sprinted to a 25.14 finish in the 50 Freestyle, and later went on to win the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.64.
 
The Panthers return to action Saturday, Nov. 10 as the team hosts UIC. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m. from Klotsche Natatorium.
