MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee men's basketball fans will have an opportunity to get their first look at the 2018-19 squad under the direction of second-year head coach
Pat Baldwin when it hosts the annual Black & Gold Scrimmage Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Klotsche Center.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for team warm-ups and admission is free to the public.
The scrimmage will begin at 7 p.m. and include opening comments and player introductions from Coach Baldwin in addition to two halves of basketball. The team will be available to sign autographs following the scrimmage and there will be interactive contests and free food for UWM students.
There will also be a chance for someone to win free pizza for a year as well as a pair of courtside seats for a men's basketball game this season.
The new campaign tips off soon, with the season opener scheduled for Nov. 6 at Boston College, tipping off at 6 p.m. CST. The team will also host Concordia University Wisconsin in an exhibition contest Oct. 31, set for a 7 p.m. tip.
Season tickets start for as little as $130 for men and $25 for women and are on sale for the 2018-19 Milwaukee basketball season. They can be ordered by calling (414) 229-5886.
Individual game tickets go on sale Oct. 22 and mini-plans will go on sale Oct. 15.
