The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis squad fell to UW-Eau Claire, 9-0, in its opening match of the season. The closest game of the match was at No. 1 singles, where Kristine Miller took UWEC's Molly Cope to seven in the first match, but lost 6-0 in the second.

The Panthers are at UW-Green Bay tomorrow morning.
