MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee placed 104 student-athletes on the 2014 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced earlier this week.

In order to make the honor roll, student-athletes must have completed at least three semesters on campus and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20.

The Panther women's swimming & diving team led the way with 15 honorees while the women's soccer team had 14. There were 13 from men's track and field/cross country, 12 from women's track and field/cross country and men's soccer and 11 each from volleyball and baseball. There were also seven from men's swimming & diving and three each from women's tennis, women's basketball and men's basketball.

Across the league, a total of 796 student-athletes from all 19 League sports made the honor roll. Oakland led the league with 122 honorees while Valparaiso had 118.
