Made 35 starts, appearing in 36 games before an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season... hit .311 with eight doubles, two triples, and a home run... drove in 17 RBI and scored 30 runs... drew 11 walks and six HBP while striking out just 12 times in 122 at bats... had 11 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games... opened the season going 4-for-9 (444) with three runs and three RBI in two wins against Alabama A&M... hit his first home run at Milwaukee on April 16 against Youngstown State, finishing 2-for-5... raised his average nearly 50 points from April 14 to April 20 with 10 hits in five games during that stretch... totaled 51 putouts and 64 assists as part of the middle infield for the Panthers.
