High School: Competed in track all four years... made it to the state championships in 100-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay... placed third in the 300-meter... broke school records in the 100-meter hurdles, 4x100-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay... member of Indiana BLAST track club.

Personal: Daughter of Brian Handshoe and Lanetta Handshoe... chose Milwaukee because she loved the team environment and coaches and loved being close to the city... brother swims at Ball State University... lists most memorable sports experience as winning conference and setting meet records in the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, 300-meter hurdles and winning high jump as a senior... enjoys spending time with family and friends and listening to music... volunteered at Gigi's Playhouse and worked with individuals with disabilities... also volunteered tutoring students at an elementary school.
