High School: Graduated from Burlington Central High School in 2022…was a member of the cross country and track and field teams in high school…ran four years of cross country and qualified for state on three occasions…ran three years of varsity track went to state every season…finished second at the state championship with the 400m and the 4x400 relay…also played basketball in high school and was a part of two sectional championship teams and won three conference titles.
 
Personal: Son of Jill MacDonald and Mike Schmidt…chose Milwaukee because of the amazing environment found throughout the track and field team, the coaches showed great appreciation for me and the other athletes were very welcoming…lists his favorite memory as going to state for track during 110 degree weather and having a great time with his team…hobbies include listening to music, running and working out, and hanging out with friends…volunteered with hosting fundraisers and helping with local school athletic competitions.
