High School: Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Watertown High School in Watertown, Wis… Competed all four years on varsity for the Goslings… Junior year won the conference and regional titles in the pole vault, also broke the conference record in the event, qualified for Nike Nationals… As a senior qualified for New Balance Nationals… Captained the Soccer team as a senior as well… High honor roll all four years, president of DECA and FBLA, member of National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society.
 
Personal: Son of Rick and Tracy Gilbertsen… A finance major and economics minor… Has volunteered with Salvation Army and Feeding America… Chose Milwaukee because of the reputation of the track program and the great connections he can make.
