Traeder's Cross Country Bio
2018 Outdoor: Ran in two meets ... started things off with a time of 16:29.59 at the Big Blue Classic Mar. 31 ... three weeks later, came in 13th in the same event in 16:43.10 at the DePaul Invite.
2018 Indoor: Competed in three meets on the season ... opened up at the Tierney Classic Jan. 20, taking 23rd in the 3000m in 9:40.70 ... two weeks later, came in fifth in his first 5k of the season in 16:38.33 at the Parkside Classic Feb. 3 ... lowered his 3k time to 9:34.36 with an 11th-place finish at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 17.
2017 Outdoor: Ran in three meets on the season ... started things out placing sixth in the 5k at the Edmonds Invite Mar. 25 ... two weeks later, came in 26th in the 1500m at Marquette ... turned in a season-best time of 16:27.50 in the 5000m at Benedictine April 15.
2017 Indoor: Competed in two meets on the year ... made his collegiate track debut at the Parkside Classic Feb. 4, taking 17th in the mile ... also ran the 3000m at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 18, finishing fifth.
High School
Ran all four years in both cross country and track and field at Verona Area High School ... a team captain for both sports as a junior and senior ... qualified individually for state as a senior, finishing 54th overall ... also a second team all-conference selection as a junior ... in track, qualified for state in the 3200m as a sophomore.
