2017 Outdoor: Was part of a big showing by the Milwaukee high jump crew, taking fourth in the event at his final Horizon League Championships after clearing the bar at 1.95m (6-4 3/4) ... started his senior season taking third in high jump and ninth in long jump at the Marquette Duals April 7 ... placed eighth in high jump at the Benedictine Invite one week later ... came in fifth at the Pacesetter Invite April 22 ... closed out his Panther career at the Dr. Keeler Invite, taking eighth after clearing 1.93m (6-4) ... named to the Horizon League Fall & Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2016 Outdoor: Placed in four meets on the season ... started things off with a third-place finish at the Billiken Kickoff Mar. 19 ... one week later, was fourth in the same event at the Edmonds Invite ... seventh in high jump at the Big Blue Classic April 2 ... won the event at the Lee Calhoun Memorial with a season-best leap of 1.93m (6-4) April 15 ... named to the Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2016 Indoor: Scored in high jump after taking eighth at the Horizon League Championships ... started the season runner-up in high jump at the home Tierney Quad ... cleared a season-best 2.02m (6-7 1/2) for second place at the Platteville Invite Feb. 13 ... again runner-up in high jump at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 19 ... also competed in long jump twice on the year with a season-best jump of 6.05m (19-10 1/4) ... named to the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2015 Indoor: Finished eighth in high jump after clearing 1.90m (6-2 3/4) at the Horizon League Championships ... started the season by taking eighth in the same event at the John Tierney Triangular Jan. 23 ... came in eighth in long jump with a leap of 6.20m (20-4 1/4) at the Parkside Classic Feb. 7 ... posted a season-best high jump mark of 1.91m (6-3 1/4) at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 20. 2015 Indoor: Scored and came in sixth in high jump at the Horizon League Championships ... started the season taking 10th at the Billiken Kickoff Mar. 21 ... was sixth in the same event at Marquette April 10 ... cleared a season-best 1.95m (6-4 3/4) at the Drake Alternative April 26.

2014 Indoor: Earned a spot on the podium with a fifth-place finish in high jump at the Horizon League Championships with a season-best leap of 1.98m (6-6) ... was second in the same event at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 22 ... also came in sixth in long jump at the Panther Tune-Up only time competing in the event on the season. 2014 Outdoor: Came in seventh in high jump at the league championships ... was third in the season opener at the Cougar Classic Mar. 22 ... had a season-best leap of 2.01m (6-7) taking third at the Billiken Invite April 12.

2013 Indoor: Competed in three meets, with a season-best finish of 1.95m in high jump at the Jack Jennett Invitational for ninth place. Outdoor: Did not compete and maintained freshman eligibility.

High School: Earned a trip to the Wisconsin state meet as a junior in high jump ... also played football three years and basketball two years.

Personal: Son of Alex and Viktoriya Butovskiy ... both parents ran hurdles in Ukraine ... born Feb. 23, 1994.
