High School: Named Wisconsin’s Division 3 Player of the Year as a senior at Fall Creek by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association … also WBCA All-State First Team … hit .534 while recording a 1.28 ERA and 7-1 record on the mound … slugged .986 and posted a .632 on-base percentage, with 11 doubles, eight triples, two home runs and 41 RBI … also went 20-for-20 in stolen bases … First-Team All-Western Cloverbelt Conference his final two years … added honorable-mention all-district as a junior and second-team all-league honors as a sophomore … Preseason Perfect Game All-American and three-time PG All-Tournament Team selection … ranked No. 23 in the state of Wisconsin and No. 1 at second base by Prep Baseball Report … also played basketball his final two seasons, topping the squad in free-throw percentage … played club baseball for GRB Rays (two years) and the Minnesota Blizzard (five years).
