MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Athletic Department placed 138 student-athletes on the 2026 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll, announced Wednesday by the conference office.
The Panthers checked in at third place on the overall school list this time – just one out of second – and have led the Horizon League six times in the past 16 semesters. A total of 1,341 student-athletes earned the distinction league-wide with MKE's 138 total coming in only behind Oakland (139) and Youngstown State (164).
Women's track & field/cross country led the way for Milwaukee with 28 members. Men's track & field was next with 22 and women's swimming & diving was close behind with 18.
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: Participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season, completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution, and a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
