MILWAUKEE – The next episode of the "PounceCast" – a feature that provides more content and helps tell the stories behind Milwaukee Panther Athletics – is available as of today. 
 
The podcast, hosted by Matt Menzl, is designed to take listeners behind the scenes with key members of the Panther community.
 
The next episode (30:26) features Milwaukee women's tennis head coach Mark Goldin and is available HERE.

In his third season that just wrapped up last month, Goldin led the team to just the second Horizon League regular-season title in program history, as the team earned the crown for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign.

He also helped Nel Van Hout to Horizon League Player of the Year honors, marking the first time a Panther won the award in program history. In addition, Goldin guided Nadiia Konieva to First-Team All-League honors – the first time in program history that the team had a pair of athletes on the first team. Other highlights included a second consecutive victory over cross-town rival Marquette (after the team had not beaten the Golden Eagles in prior program history) as well as a 4-3 victory over former league powerhouse UIC, snapping a streak that dated back 12 matches to 2014.

Goldin came to Milwaukee following a very successful run as the head coach at Cardinal Stritch University and, most recently, as the assistant general manager at Elite Sports Club in Mequon. His tenure at Cardinal Stritch from 2013 to 2021 was impressive, earning the Wilson ITA Women's NAIA National Coach of the Year Award in 2014 in addition to four East Region Wilson ITA Coach of the Year accolades and Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors on eight different occasions (4 women's/4 men's).
 
The Milwaukee Athletic Department announced the creation of this monthly podcast back in January of 2023.
