Scott Warras enters his 10th season as the Panthers' radio play-by-play announcer in 2025-26. It also marks his 20th season overall working in the Milwaukee Athletics Department, a stretch that included a decade as the radio voice of the women's basketball program.Â
In addition to his basketball responsibilities, Warras calls Panthers' baseball games every spring that can be heard on the Black & Gold Network and viewed on ESPN+. Over the course of the year, he can also be found working on a variety of digital projects for MKEPanthers.com.
Warras is a veteran of the Milwaukee-area broadcast scene as he has spent over twenty years in various capacities, including a long stretch as an executive producer and show host at WTMJ Radio. He originally got his start in broadcasting at his alma mater, Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he helped to begin that school's sports' broadcasting efforts.
