INDIANAPOLIS – For the second consecutive week, Aric Ehmke has been selected as the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week following his outing against UNLV on Saturday evening.

Ehmke did not allow an earned run against the Rebels, throwing six innings and striking out three batters. With his win over UNLV, Ehmke has won his last three starts, including wins over Northern Kentucky on Apr. 17 and Wright State on Apr. 25.

This is the second time Ehmke earned weekly honors from the Horizon League this season  and the third time in his career. Entering his scheduled start against Youngstown State this weekend, he has thrown 13 1/3 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run.

On the season, he has thrown 51 innings over 10 starts, posting a 5.65 ERA with 30 strikeouts. Over his two-year career with the Panthers, Ehmke has won four games across 25 games, including 21 starts, while striking out 63 batters over 111 innings of work.

Milwaukee has earned three Pitcher of the Week honors by the Horizon League this season, with Riley Peterson and Ehmke each earning one each prior to this week. Dylan O'Connell has been a two-time Batter of the Week honoree in 2026.

The Panthers continue the latter stages of their season this week with a pair of non-conference games, beginning on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. against Valparaiso before heading to UIC on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
