MILWAUKEE – Due to forecasted thundershowers in DeKalb, Illinois on Tuesday afternoon, the Milwaukee baseball game at Northern Illinois has been canceled.
 
The Panthers will wrap-up the 2026 regular season with a three-game home series against Oakland beginning on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
 
Milwaukee and Northern Illinois will meet a total of six times in 2027 as the Huskies will join the Horizon League on July 1. The teams will play a three-game series at both Franklin Field as well as Ralph McKinzie Field.
 
In additional schedule notes, the March 17 postponed game against Western Illinois and the April 7 postponed game against Iowa have both officially been canceled and will not be made up.
