MILWAUKEE – Mark your calendars for the second annual "Black and Gold Hour" on Tuesday, October 14 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Mo's … A Place For Steaks in downtown Milwaukee.
Join Panthers men's basketball head coach
Bart Lundy, players from the current roster, and members of the MKE Athletics Department for this special, exclusive inside look at the men's basketball program.
Lundy has set the bar high in his first three years with the Panthers, leading the team to three consecutive 20-victory seasons, marking the first for the program since a record four straight back from 2002-2006. He also became the first head coach to claim 20+ wins in each of his first three years on the bench in Milwaukee's NCAA Division I era. The team finished first in the NCAA in fastbreak points with 18.4 per game last season, fully embracing Lundy's "Tilt The Floor" motto.
He has changed the culture of not only the team, but what the MKE program means to the City of Milwaukee. The evening will provide a preview of the upcoming season, and Lundy will talk about how the staff has built the program to its current level of success in a short time.
Tickets for this special event are priced at $50 and proceeds support Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) efforts for the MKE men's basketball program.
Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served with a cash bar at 5:30 p.m. and the program will start approximately 6 p.m. with a Q&A session to follow. Mo's is located at 720 N Plankinton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis.
