MILWAUKEE – Head coach
Mark Goldin has announced a new addition to the roster of the Milwaukee women's tennis team with the signing of Nel Van Hout.
Van Hout comes to Milwaukee following a successful freshman campaign at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
"I am very excited to announce the addition of Nel," Goldin said. "She is coming off a great year at Marshall and has the talent and experience to contribute to our team right away."
This past school year, Van Hout posted a singles record of 5-2, coming all at No. 6 position. In doubles, she compiled an impressive 16-4 ledger, including a 6-2 mark in conference matches. She helped the Thundering Herd to a 20-6 overall mark as a team, finishing with a run to the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championship, where they placed runner-up.
Van Hout, a native of Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, is signed and set to play for the Panthers this coming fall.
