Milwaukee Lands Five on Horizon League Baseball All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced its All-Academic Team for the 2025 baseball season, with the Milwaukee Panthers leading the league with five honorees.
 
Earning a spot on the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team were Keagon Kaufmann, Teige Lethert, and Gavin Theis, while Tyler Bickers and Logan Snow were named to the Honorable Mention list.
 
The five Panthers led all programs, topping Northern Kentucky and Wright State with four each. Purdue Fort Wayne had three, while both Oakland and Youngstown State had two honorees apiece.
 
Kaufmann earns his second consecutive All-Academic Team honor after being selected in 2024. He was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The senior carries a 3.835 grade-point average while completing his undergraduate degree in accounting at UW-Milwaukee. This season he has a appeared in 12 games, made his first career start, and recorded 11 strikeouts over 23 2/3 innings.
 
Lethert, also a 2024 CSC Academic All-District honoree, entered the spring semester with a 3.532 GPA as an accounting major. In 34 games this season, he has tallied six doubles, three home runs and 15 RBIs. In Horizon League play, he is batting .293 with 11 RBIs.
 
Theis holds a 3.356 grade-point average as a finance major. A two-time Horizon League Pitcher of the Week in 2025, he leads the league with an 8-1 record and a 4.08 ERA. Milwaukee has won every Horizon League game he's starter this season. Theis has also notched 66 strikeouts over 75 innings – both second-most in the league.
 
Bickers earned honorable mention recognition this season while maintaining a 3.277 GPA as a general business major. One of the league's top hitters, he owns a .426 batting average in conference play and a .356 average overall average. He leads the team with 68 hits (fourth-most in the league), along with nine doubles, 36 RBIs, and 42 runs scored.
 
Rounding out Milwaukee's selections is Snow, who carries a 3.407 GPA as a graduate student in UW-Milwaukee's MBA program. In 20 pitching appearances this season, he has posted a 1.59 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP over 28 1/3 innings. He leads the Horizon League with six saves, five of which have come in conference play.
 
Milwaukee will close out the 2025 regular season this weekend with a three-game series at Oakland. The series will begin at 2:00 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, May 15.
