INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced its Volleyball All-Academic Team on Tuesday, and Milwaukee stood atop the conference with a league-best four honorees.

Bella Lipski, earned recognition for their excellence in both competition and the classroom.

The Panthers' four selections are the most of any Horizon League program this season, marking the third consecutive year Milwaukee has led the conference.

Erdmann earned All-Academic distinction after another exceptional season leading Milwaukee's back row. Carrying a 3.748 GPA as a finance and marketing major, Erdmann leads the Panthers and ranks second in the Horizon League with 530 digs and 5.15 digs per set. She continues to climb the program record books, standing fifth all-time at Milwaukee with 1,673 digs and second in digs per set at 4.25. A 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, she has also been named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll in every eligible semester.

Schmitz who holds a 3.918 GPA in accounting and marketing, leads the Panthers with 289 kills and remains one of the Horizon League's top offensive performers. She ranks 11th in the league in total kills, 15th in kills per set (2.83), 24th in hitting percentage (.211), and 18th in total points (307.5). A returning member of the Horizon League All-Academic Team and a 2024 CSC Academic All-District honoree, Schmitz has earned Academic Honor Roll distinction in all four eligible semesters.

Goba, who carries a 3.949 GPA in finance, accounting, and data analytics, also secured a place on the All-Academic Team. She leads Milwaukee and ranks 20th in the league with 22 service aces and 0.22 aces per set, with 15 of those coming during Horizon League play. Goba has contributed in multiple areas this season, adding 177 digs and 67 assists. She is a two-time member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

Lipski was recognized for her academic excellence with a 3.866 GPA in occupational science and technology, paired with her consistent production at the net. She ranks second on the team and 12th in the Horizon League with 85 blocks, averaging 0.83 per set. She has tallied 10 matches with four or more blocks, including six during league action. She stands fourth on the team with 195 kills and ranks second in hitting percentage at .233. Lipski is also a two-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll selection.

Milwaukee now turns its attention to the Horizon League Volleyball Championship, opening postseason play on Friday. The Panthers will face fourth-seeded IU Indy at 5:00 p.m. (CT) at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Ky.
