Milwaukee Women’s Soccer Announces Incoming Recruiting Class

Group of nine set to join Panthers next season

November 18, 2025

MILWAUKEE – Maya Allen of Miami, Fla., Dylan Beede of Scottsdale, Ariz., Leah Brock of Germantown, Wis., Josslyn Farrare of Burr Ridge, Ill., Braelyn Hundt of Brookfield, Wis., Keani Martinez of Skokie, Ill., Jaylah Moore of McFarland, Wis., Cassidy Pettijohn of Terre Haute, Ind., and Emily Urban of Appleton, Wis., have all signed and announced their commitment to play soccer for the Panthers next season.

The class was officially announced by Milwaukee head coach Kevin Boyd today.

"This is a very good and very important class for us," Boyd said. "We graduate not only numbers this year, but also impact. Losing seven starters to graduation is daunting, but also a tremendous opportunity for other players. We need this incoming class to show up ready to compete for playing time. We also firmly believe they are capable as a class of stepping in and providing minutes immediately. This class is athletic and fast, which has been a focus of ours."

Allen is a defender who plays for Florida United at the club level, where she has been a team captain for three seasons. Her play earned her invitations to the 2025 GA Southeast Talent ID event, the 2024 GA National Talent ID Showcase, as well as the 2024 GA Southeast Talent ID and 2023 United Premier Soccer League (Women's Division).

"Maya is a center back with size, good feet and composure," Boyd said. "She is very good playing out with her feet, is good in the air, and brings height – which will make her a set piece threat. This is a homecoming of sorts for her as she lived in Cedarburg until she was two, while her father, Malik, was playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. I expect her to be vying for playing time immediately."

Beede joins the program from club team Utah Royals FC Arizona ECNL. She is also a two-time state champion with Chaparral High School, earning all-region honors once and all-conference twice. In addition, Beede is a three-time member of the all-academic team.

"Dylan is an attacking center-mid who comes from one of the top clubs out of Arizona," Boyd said. "She has the traits we like in an attacking midfielder in her work rate, pressing, and counter-pressing ability and also her ability to cover ground. She has played for three outstanding coaches in her youth career that should have her poised to come in and compete for time immediately."

Brock is a local product who is a two-year team captain at Germantown High School, earning Honorable-Mention Greater Metro All-Conference accolades as a junior last season. She plays for North Shore United on the club side, earning an invitation to the GA Talent ID camp last year. In the classroom, she has been recognized as a Scholar-Athlete all of her years.

"Leah is a forward with speed, balance, and a slippery ability to get behind defenders," Boyd said. "She is highly competitive and combative, which will translate well into the college game. She will be a goal-scoring and goal-creating threat walking in the door. Both of her parents and her brother are UWM grads, and her mom played for our basketball team in her time as a Panther. Leah will compete for a starting spot immediately."

Farrare is a defensive midfielder who has enjoyed a successful club career with Chicago Inter Soccer Club, where she served as a team captain for two seasons. She also was named all-conference as a freshman at Hinsdale South High School.

"Josslyn is a center-mid who brings power and athleticism to the holding midfielder position," Boyd said. "She has good air ball and defensive presence and should challenge for time immediately. She joins us from the Chicago Inter club, which is the home club of a number of our current players."

Hundt has seen success at the high school and club level, earning Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association First Team All-State honors at Brookfield East High School. She is a two-time team captain for the Spartans, recognized twice with first-team all-conference accolades and the 'golden boot' award. On the club side, she plays for Elmbrook United, where the two-time team captain helped the program claim state championships in both 2021 and 2023.

"Braelyn Hundt is a forward who is powerful and fast," Boyd said. "She can play any of the front three positions and will add athleticism to our line.  She will be a threat to goal based on ability to run at, and behind players, plus will be a physical challenge for defenders. She should compete for playing time immediately."

Martinez also plays for the Chicago Inter Soccer Club, helping the team earn a state cup runner-up showing in 2023. On the high school side, she was the top varsity scorer for Niles North High School as a freshman.

"Keani is a forward with quick feet that will turn into a fan favorite," Boyd said. "She is really creative and technical on the dribble. She is an intriguing one, as she has traits that allow her to play in any of the attacking four positions. With her ability to beat players 1v1, we expect her to compete for time right away."

Moore brings her goalkeeping ability to the Panthers from both North Shore United and McFarland High School. Last season, Moore was a unanimous selection in the Badger Small Conference All-League First Team after earning second-team all-league accolades as a sophomore. She was also selected for Wisconsin Soccer COaches Association Honorable Mention All-State honors after her successful 2025 campaign and helped the team to an appearance at the state tournament in 2024.

"Jaylah is an extremely athletic goalkeeper who has the ability to dig balls out of corners," Boyd said. "She will make a significant mark on this program during her career here and her upside as a goalkeeper is as high as it gets."

Pettijohn attends South Vigo High school where she earned second-team all-state and first-team all-conference honors as a junior. She plays for Indy Premier United 08GA on the club side where she has been a two-time USYNT ID Center invitation recipient, a three-time GA Mid-American Talent ID invitation recipient, and a GA US National Camp invitation recipient.

"Cassidy is a wide back who can fly," Boyd said. "She is a very quick and fast outside back that can shut down a player 1v1, but also get forward into the attack. Cassidy has traits similar to (former Panther) Liz Reece, and we believe she will fit into a spot just as quickly [Reece started and played every game in her career from the moment coach Boyd arrived on campus]."

Urban brings along a very successful resume on both the club and high school sides. As a defender for Wisconsin United FC, she is a four-time State Cup champion, as well as a two-time State Cup runner-up. A 2025 Nationals qualifier (and five-time regional qualifier), Urban was named to the 2025 National U17 Best XI Team and to the National League Taka Top 100 Players in the Country list. At Kimberly High School, she is a three-time team captain, leading the Papermakers to a state appearance in 2025 and a runner-up finish in the 2024 WIAA Division 1 Championship game. A three-time Fox Valley Association First-Team All-League honoree, Urban was tabbed Second-Team Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association All-State following her junior year in 2025 and was chosen All-North Region as well.

"Emily is a center back who also has the ability to play wide back, if needed," Boyd said. "She is athletic with speed, has very good soccer IQ, defensive qualities, and ability to handle the ball. We expect her to be competing for a starting spot immediately."
