INDIANAPOLIS – Milwaukee earned the #HLWSOC regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Horizon League championship as the regular season came to a close Wednesday. The Panthers will host the semifinals and championship on Nov. 6 and 8 at Engelmann Stadium.

For the fifth year in a row and the 10th time in the last 11 seasons, Milwaukee clinched the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship. The Panthers concluded the 2025 regular season with an 8-0-2 League record and an 11-4-3 overall record, including a 3-2 win over Green Bay Wednesday. MKE will play its semifinal match against the lowest-remaining seed after the quarterfinal matches on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Northern Kentucky enters postseason play as the No. 2 seed and will also receive a bye into the semifinal round. The Norse finished the regular season with a league record of 7-1-2, currently 10-2-6 overall. NKU will take on the highest-remaining seed from the quarterfinal matches on Nov. 6 at Engelmann Stadium.
The 2025 #HLWSOC Championship begins Sunday, Nov. 2 with quarterfinals hosted by No. 3 seed Youngstown State and No. 4 seed Wright State. Both matches are set to begin at 1 p.m. ET. The Penguins finished the regular season with 20 points in League play following a 2-0 win over RMU on Wednesday. The Raiders totaled 17 League points.
YSU will host No. 6 seed Oakland, who wrapped up the regular season with 12 points following a draw with Detroit Mercy. The Penguins collected a 3-0 win over the Golden Grizzlies earlier this month.
WSU will host No. 5 seed Green Bay as the Phoenix closed out League play with 15 points. The Phoenix earned a 2-1 win over the Raiders in Green Bay on Oct. 16.
