LAST TIME IN THE POOL
The Panthers are coming off a remarkable performance at the Wisconsin Showcase, hosted by Carthage College at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center and RUSD Aquatic Complex. The Black & Gold swept the meet from start to finish, with both the men's and women's teams producing first-place finishers in all 16 of their respective events.

The Milwaukee men claimed the top three spots on the podium in 10 events, while the Panther women secured all top five positions in six different events.

The men were led by sophomore standout Sam Lorenz, who claimed victory in all four of the events he participated in. The transfer from Wisconsin set a program record in the 200 Backstroke (1:47.63), breaking a mark that had stood for more than 16 years, previously set by Jeremy Waldhart in 2009. His other three wins came in the 100 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay.

Gunnar Seversen, the reigning Horizon League Championship Freshman of the Year, also had a successful day in the pool, touching the wall first in his three events. In the 200 Freestyle, Seversen's time of 1:37.95 placed him second on the Milwaukee all-time list for the event. His success continued with victories in the 500 Freestyle and 400 Individual Medley.

Will Francis swept the diving events with his impressive performances in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Francis received scores of 259.50 and 288.30, respectively.

On the women's side, Natalie DiProspero was the shining star in the pool. She recorded three first-place finishes on the day with those coming in the 200 Freestyle (1:55.62), 200 Butterfly (2:09.09), and 100 Freestyle (53.37).

Christiana Brooks and Gabrielle LePine also had strong showings at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center, with Brooks claiming a spot on the podium in four events (50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 200 Medley Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay) and LePine taking the crown in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke.

In the diving portion of the meet, Kristina Wittmann looked strong, securing victories in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. She recorded scores of 265.28 and 245.78, respectively.
