MILWAUKEE – On Wednesday, the Horizon League announced the conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 women's basketball season, featuring 20 games of a double-round robin format for the Milwaukee Panthers.

Last season, the Panthers finished league competition with a 10-10 record including a win over Green Bay on the final day of the regular season to clinch the fifth seed and a first-round bye in the Horizon League Championship.

The 2024-25 Horizon League slate will begin with the longest trip of the year with a visit to Youngstown State on Dec. 4 followed by Robert Morris on Dec. 7.

The team's league home opener will come against in-state foe Green Bay on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The league slate will take a quick hiatus to account for finals week and the holiday season before resuming on Sunday, Dec. 29 with a visit to Cleveland State at the Wolstein Center.

Milwaukee rings in the new year with four of the first five league games at home inside the Klotsche Center with a pair against Wright State (Jan. 2) and Northern Kentucky (Jan. 4), before a quick trip to Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 9. The team plays at home against Oakland (Jan. 16) and Detroit Mercy (Jan. 18) to round out the stay at home in January.

The Panthers head back out on the road at Northern Kentucky on Jan. 23 followed by a road game at Wright State on Jan. 25. The trip continues with a visit to IU Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI) on Jan. 29.

As the calendar flips to February, the home stretch of the season will begin with a trio of home competitions against Cleveland State (Feb. 1), Robert Morris (Feb. 6), and Youngstown State (Feb. 8).

Milwaukee will visit the Motor City and Detroit Mercy on Feb. 13 followed by Oakland on Feb. 15. The Panthers are back home against IU Indianapolis for a midweek matchup on Feb. 19 before a quick trip to Green Bay on Feb. 22.

The regular season will close on Thursday, Feb. 27 against Purdue Fort Wayne at the Klotsche Center. The remaining 10 teams in the league will play on Saturday, March 1, while the Panthers will be off in advance of postseason play.

The Horizon League Championship will begin with first round action on Mar. 4, followed by the quarterfinal round on Mar. 6, those matchups will be hosted by higher seeds. The remaining four teams will compete in the semifinal round on Mar. 10, before a league champion is crowned the following day on Tuesday, Mar. 11.
