MILWAUKEE – Five new opponents highlight the 2025 Milwaukee baseball schedule, as the slate of 56 games has been announced by second-year skipper

The Panthers are scheduled to play 19 home games at Franklin Field in 2025 including all five Horizon League opponents, the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference, UIC, Northern Illinois, MSOE, and first-time opponent UW-River Falls.

Tickets for home games are expected to go on sale in February.

The Panthers are scheduled to play a pair of programs that qualified for last season's NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, including the South Carolina Gamecocks during its season-opening road trip, as well as defending Horizon League Champion, Northern Kentucky.

Other schedule highlights include Big Ten road games at Minnesota, Purdue, and Michigan, while the team will also visit UNLV of the Mountain West and Kansas of the Big XII.

The season begins with a 20-game road trip that will see Milwaukee open the season at Mercer on Feb. 14 for the first of three against the Bears. The trip continues with South Carolina from Feb. 21-23 and UNLV from Feb. 28-Mar. 2.

The first midweek game of the season will feature the Panthers playing under the roof of U.S. Bank Stadium on Mar. 4 against Minnesota. Milwaukee visits Kansas for four from Mar. 6-9, before road games to UIC (Mar. 11), Youngstown State (Mar. 14-16), and Purdue (Mar. 18).

After starting Horizon League play at YSU, the Panthers make their long-awaited return home against Wright State (Mar. 21-23), while also welcoming River Falls on Mar. 26.

The team heads back out on the road for the next seven games beginning with a weekend set at Northern Kentucky (Mar. 26-28), before trips to Valparaiso (Apr. 1) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Apr. 4-6).

Milwaukee hosts its longest homestand of the season with eight straight games at Franklin Field, featuring Iowa (Apr. 8), Oakland (Apr. 11-13), UIC (Apr. 15), and Youngstown State (Apr. 17-19).

After a Horizon League series at Wright State (Apr. 25-27), the Panthers return home for five straight beginning with non-conference tilts against Northern Illinois (Apr. 29) and MSOE (Apr. 30), before hosting Northern Kentucky (May 2-4).

A two-game visit to first-time opponent St. Thomas follows on May 6-7, before the final home series of 2025 will see Milwaukee host Purdue Fort Wayne from May 9-11.

The regular season closes with four games in Michigan beginning with a stop in Ann Arbor to take on Michigan (May 13) and continuing at Oakland from May 15-17.

Horizon League postseason play is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 21, with the six-team double-elimination tournament at the highest seed. A league champion will be crowned on May 24, with the winner advancing to the 2025 NCAA Division I Championship.
