INDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, the Horizon League announced the conference schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 women's basketball season, which will feature 20 contests of a double-round robin format for the Panthers.
 
Under the direction of Kyle Rechlicz, who will be entering her 12th season in 2023-24, Milwaukee finished last year with an 8-12 mark in league games to clinch the seventh seed and a first-round home game against Robert Morris, winning the matchup by a 64-58 score. The team advanced to the quarterfinal round and fell to eventual Horizon League Champion Cleveland State.
 
In 2023-24 the Panthers will open the Horizon League slate with a home matchup against Green Bay, as the two teams will meet inside the Klotsche Center on Wednesday, November 29. Milwaukee will follow with a trip to 'The Jungle' to take on IUPUI on Sunday, December 3.
 
Following a near four-week hiatus of conference games, league action will pick back up at home when the Panthers welcome in Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, December 30 before ringing in the new year on January 1 against Cleveland State.
 
The Panthers will pay a visit to Wright State on January 5, followed by a trip to Northern Kentucky on January 7 before welcoming Robert Morris to the 'K' on January 11, and Youngstown State two days later on January 13.
 
The team's annual trip to Michigan will be a weekend later beginning with the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Thursday, January 18 and Detroit Mercy on Saturday, January 20. The team will have a single game the following weekend as the Panthers host Wright State on Friday, January 26.
 
In the longest trip of the conference season, the Panthers will head to Moon Township, Pennsylvania to visit the Colonials of Robert Morris to finish up the month of January on the 31st, before a two-day break will pit MKE against Youngstown State in northeast Ohio on February 3.
 
IUPUI will return the trip to Milwaukee on February 8, while Northern Kentucky will follow on February 10. The Panthers visit Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State the following Thursday (Feb. 15) and Saturday (Feb. 17) before closing out the home slate with Detroit Mercy on February 22, and Oakland on February 24.
 
The regular season will conclude in Wisconsin, but at the Kress Center in Green Bay as the Panthers and Phoenix will meet on February 29.
